What is the purpose of God for your life?
My missions statement is
Fulfilling God’s purpose for my life.
The Father’s greatest desire is for you to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
What is God’s determined purpose?
God’s determined purpose is to make His name known in all the earth,
Global purpose is fulfilling God’s heart for the world.
Bible verses about God’s purpose:
Is 14:24-27 –
The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying,
“Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,
And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:
For the Lord of hosts has purposed,
And who will annul it?
His hand is stretched out,
And who will turn it back?”
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.
There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
God will fulfill His purpose
The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
God’s continuing purpose is:
- to redeem a people from every people
- to rule a kingdom above every kingdom
God gathers us to send, and send us to gather
Our question:
God ,What is your will for my life?
God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
The right question to ask:
God, What is your will?
How can I join you in what you’re doing?
With Purpose
God’s purpose is to forward His mission with or without the cooperation of His chosen people.
With the blessing is the responsibility – dangerous if unfulfilled!
With the blessing is the privilege – joyous when fulfilled!
